現在、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の感染が急速に拡大している。感染拡大防止のために重要な方法の1つは、人々の感染症予防行動を促進させることである。この研究では、モバイルセンシングを利用し、人の日常アクティビティを追跡する。そして、私達が開発したゲーミフィケーションに基づくアプリケーション(SelfGuard)を利用し、人の感染症予防行動を促進させる。実際には、人の感染症予防行動は、いろいろな要因が影響している。そのため、どのようにすれば確実に人の感染症予防行動を促進させられるのかは、未解決の問題である。具体的な要因を探すため、人の日常アクティビティと感染症予防行動の完成率の関係性を分析し、いくつかの結論を出した。
また、私達のデータ分析の結果を元に、感染症予防行動を促進させる方法も複数提案した。そして、モバイルセンシングを利用した感染症予防行動を分析する方法の有効性を証明した。それゆえに、スマートフォンを利用し、人の感染症予防行動を促進させることを提唱している。さらに、より効率的に感染症予防行動が促進され、人の日常アクティビティと感染症予防意識の関係性を定量的に分析するため、新しいアプリケーションを設計している。同時に、規模を拡大した新しい実験も企画中である。
