abstract = {本稿では,公共交通オープンデータの推進に関わる私たちの活動を中心に,日本国内における現在までの実現状況や世界的な動向などを紹介する.オープンデータとは,公共機関や企業が所有するデータを商用を含めた二次利用しやすいフォーマット,ライセンス,提供方法で提供しようという考え方であり,公共交通に関するデータは様々な活用が期待されているがその実現はなかなか進まなかった.私たちは,国際的なデファクトスタンダードである GTFS フォーマットを用いた公共交通オープンデータの推進活動を 2014 年度から始め,現在までに,路線バスを中心にデータの整備や公開,関連する技術開発やコミュニティ形成を支援してきた.また,国土交通省において関係者を集めた検討会の座長を務め,GTFS フォーマットをベースとした 「標準的なバス情報フォーマット」 の策定をすすめた.現在では,交通事業者が率先してデータ整備や公開を進める事例や,県が主導し県内の公共交通オープンデータを整備する事業が 4 県で始まるなど,公共交通オープンデータの実現に向けた事業が各地で各地で進められるようになっている.本稿では,こうした活動を紹介するとともに,このような社会的活動における研究者の役割について議論する.},

abstract = {現代はスマートフォンが普及しており,様々な道案内アプリが開発されている.しかし,建物内や複雑な地形の場所では,地図を見てすぐに目的地までのルートを判断することは難しく,特に地図が読むのが苦手な人に道を伝えることは難しい.そこで著者らは,全天球カメラの画像を用いて,実際に人の目線で見たように目的地までの経路を伝えるアプリ,「駅構内案内アプリ」 を開発した.また,駅や建物の増改築に伴い,本アプリで利用されているデータを更新する必要がでてくることが考えられる.そのため,本アプリのデータは短時間で容易に作成できなければならない.このデータを容易に作成し,全天球カメラの画像と地図さえあればすぐにデータを更新することが可能なデータ作成支援システム,「案内アプリ用更新データ作成システム」 を開発した.今回は,データ作成支援システムを実験する場所を東京電機大学東京千住キャンパスの新 5 号館にし,評価実験を行った.男性が 6 人,女性が 2 人の,合わせて 8 人に評価実験を行ってもらった.年齢は 20 代が 7 人,30 代が 1 人である.評価実験で今後解決するべき課題を考察する.},

abstract = {近年スマートフォンの普及に見られるように半導体技術が進歩しており,参加型センシングをはじめとするセンシングシステムの活用に注目が集まっている.しかし,各ノードが動くような系において最適な測定を可能にするようなセンターの配置決定について,確立した方法は少ない.そこで本研究では,センサーノードでの測定データを空間的に内挿しながら,各点における内挿の信頼度を計算しそれをもとに次回の測定でのセンサーの配置を決定する方法を提案する.本稿では,実際にスカラー場を作りその上でのセンサーノードたちの挙動をシミュレーションし,提案手法でのノードの配置決定が有用かを検討する.
As the semiconductor technology advances, which can be seen in the recent spread of smartphones, sensing system including participatory sensing has attracted great attention these days. However, there is few established ways of such a determination of positioning of sensor nodes that enables the optimal measurement with regard to the confidence of interpolation. This study proposes a method to determine the optimal positioning of sensor nodes after one set of measurement at each point, by using the result of interpolation of that set of measurement. In this paper, we will show whether that method is valid by simulating a scaler field and sensor nodes on it.},

abstract = {Optical fiber networks in disaster areas are often damaged and consequently telecommunication services are disrupted. To quickly recover telecommunication services in the aftermath of a disaster, the authors proposed a wired and wireless network cooperation (NeCo) system. It achieves rapid recovery and high throughput with wireless bypass routes backhauled by optically wired networks. However, the existing approach only optimizes the locations for a fixed number of recovery nodes. abstract = {自然環境や動物の生態系を知ることは, 人間と自然, 動物が共存していく上で必要不可欠である. 人間がそのようなデータを定期的に集めるのは非効率であるため, 動物が代わりにセンシングを行う機構が存在する. しかしながら問題点として, センシングされたデータに位置情報が付与されていないこと, また, データのシェアリングが適切でない点が問題点として上げられる. そこで, 本稿ではこれらの課題を解決するため, ワンホップ転送位置情報付与システムの提案を行う. 具体的には, LPWANの1種であるLoRaを用いてこれらの課題を解決する. 提案手法の実現可能性を確かめるため, 森林環境において実際に実験を行った. その結果から, 森林環境における位置推定の精度を確かめる事ができた.
Understanding forest environment or an ecological system of animals is a key factor for human to coexist with nature and animals respectively. Since periodically sensing these data for human is not efficient, there is a system that in stead of human sensing such data, animals do that. However, there is a problem that such sensed data by animals doesn’t have geological information, and is not shared with other animals properly. Hence, we propose “One-hop forwarding system with geological information”. Concretely, using LoRa, one of LPWAN, we try to solve such a problem. To confirm validation of our proposal, we conducted an experiment in forest. As a result, we verify how our system functions in such an environment.},

In extracting features from automatically collected data, the greatest difficulty comes from the size or complexity of the data set, as these often have too many attributes or indices to analyze. This paper discusses the results of analyses of smart card ticketing authentication logs using nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF). abstract = {It is a significant challenge for telecommunication network operators to immediately restore communication services in the disaster area. To quickly recover telecommunication services in the affected area, this paper proposes a wired and wireless network cooperation system. When the wired communication for leaf nodes of optical tree networks is disrupted, surviving leaf nodes relay packets to and from these nodes via wireless bypass routes. The advantages of the proposed method are promptness and high-throughput, which is achieved with single-hop wireless bypass routes backhauled by wired networks. The optimal routes for wireless links are calculated to maximize the expected throughput by solving a binary integer programming problem. The proposed system is cost effective, because it can be deployed with minimum additional functions for leaf nodes of optical networks. To overcome the limitation of the proposed approach that the distribution of leaf nodes is determined by the demand distribution, additional recovery nodes can be deployed to improve the expected throughput. The numerical simulations including a medium access control level simulation conducting carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance behavior showed that the proposed method can achieve a higher throughput than an existing bypass routing method, irrespective of the topology of the wired networks.},

abstract = {Diffusion-based molecular communication (DBMC) is a recently proposed technique for information transmission among Nano-machines which can be used as in-body sensors to monitor the health condition. Conventional DBMC faces the low channel capacity problem. To this problem, we present one of our in-progress work in which DNA molecules are used as the information carrier. Particularly, we design two encoding schemes and establish the channel and noise model. We also derive the channel capacity of the proposed system. Comparing with the former schemes, the proposed one significantly increases the channel capacity of DBMC thanks to the high-density information that can be stored in DNA molecules. },

しかし,人流を低コストでセンシングできる実用的な手法はない.
そこで,今回Bluetoothを用いた低コストな人流把握手法を提案する.

By analyzing human mobility data, we can know the activity patterns of a museum visitor, functional compositions of urban spaces, and so on.
However, there is no low-cost way to sensing human mobility easily.
Therefore, we propose the low-cost sensing system for recognizing human mobility using Bluetooth.
Our system obtains a size and a direction of human mobility separately.
Moreover, we show the feasibility of our proposal by two experiments.
The first one demonstrates the feasibility of detecting a size of human mobility.
The second one shows the feasibility of obtaining a direction of human mobility.},

abstract = {環境センサを搭載したモバイルデバイスを持つ一般ユーザが環境センシングに参加するモバイル環境センシングにおいて,プライバシ情報の流出が問題となる.Perturbation技術を用いたプライバシ保護手法では,ユーザが手元のデバイスで偽装処理を施したセンサデータを送信することで個々のデータを秘匿化しつつ,サーバは特定の処理を施すことで偽装処理前の真のセンサデータの統計情報を復元できる.サーバはどの程度復元できているかを把握するために復元精度を推定する必要があり,筆者らは環境情報が時空間的相関に起因して特定のモデルに従うことを利用した復元精度推定手法を提案してきた.本稿では環境情報として大気汚染を取り上げ,筆者らが開発した大気汚染センシングデバイスを用いて行った大規模なモバイル大気汚染センシングについて報告し,得られた実測データを用いて,Perturbation技術の1つであるNegative Surveysの復元精度推定手法を評価する.
In mobile environmental sensing, where mobile users sense environmental variables and send data to a server via mobile devices, there is a risk of privacy leakage from sensor readings. Data perturbation, a privacy preserving method, disguises sensor readings on the user side while allowing a server to reconstruct statistical information, such as data distribution, of original data. Data perturbation has a serious problem in that a server cannot calculate the reconstruction accuracy. We previously proposed a method to estimate the reconstruction accuracy using a spatiotemporal model of environmental variables. In this study, we collect air pollution data with our mobile air pollution sensing device. Using the field survey data, we evaluate our methods to estimate the reconstruction accuracy of Negative Surveys, a data perturbation technique.},

abstract = {In recent years, the reduced cost and increased capacity of memory have resulted in a growing number of buffers in switches and routers. Consequently, today's networks suffer from bufferbloat, a term that refers to excess frame buffering resulting in high latency, high jitter, and low throughput. Although ring aggregation is an efficient topology for forwarding traffic from multiple, widely deployed user nodes to a core network, a fairness scheme is needed to achieve throughput fairness and avoid bufferbloat, because frames are forwarded along ring nodes. N Rate N+1 Color Marking (NRN+1CM) was proposed to achieve per-flow fairness in ring aggregation networks. The key idea of NRN+1CM is to assign a color that indicates the dropping priority of a frame according to the flow-input rate. When congestion occurs, frames are selectively discarded based on their color and the frame-dropping threshold. Through the notification process for the frame-dropping threshold, frames are discarded at upstream nodes in advance, avoiding the accumulation of a queuing delay. The performance of NRN+1CM was analyzed theoretically and evaluated with computer simulations. However, its ability to avoid bufferbloat has not yet been proven mathematically. This paper uses an M(n)/M/1/K queue model to demonstrate how bufferbloat is avoided with NRN+1CM's frame-dropping threshold-notification process. The M(n)/M/1/K queue is an M/M/1/K queuing system with balking. The state probabilities and average queue size of each ring node were calculated with the model, proving that the average queue size is suppressed in several frames, but not in the most congested queue. Computer simulation results confirm the validity of the queue model. Consequently, it was logically deducted from the proposed M(n)/M/1/K model that bufferbloat is successfully avoided with NRN+1CM independent of the network conditions including the number of nodes, buffer sizes, and the number and types of flows.},
